Web Dynpro Tutorial 5 - Error

I have recently installed the NW2004s ABAP sneak preview, which I must say was a dream compared to installing the 620 miniWAS system! No issues whatsoever.. until now.

I have been working my way through the SDN web dynpro tutorials and everything has worked perfectly up until the end of tutorial 5. I can create the application configuration, seemingly without a problem, and it appears in the SE80 object list. When I try to test it, however, it gives me the following error in IE:

The following error text was processed in the system NSP : Error SYSTEM_CORE_DUMPED occured. P1=0

Error code: ICF-IE-http -c: 000 -u: BCUSER -l: E -s: NSP -i: SP8-001_NSP_00 -w: 0 -d: 20070214 -t: 091406 -v: RABAX_STATE -e: SYSTEM_CORE_DUMPED

HTTP 500 - Internal Server Error

It claims to be a RABAX_STATE error, which I thought was caused by an ABAP issue. There is no error log in ST22 though.

This is followed by 2 'disp+work must die' errors from windows.

I get exactly the same error if I go into the configuration (initial web page appears OK) then click display or change. It says 'please wait' for a couple of seconds then bombs out.

NW04s is at SP8 , kernel package 68.

GUI is 640 final release, patch level 23

OS is Windows XP Home SP2

Any ideas?
