The Business Process Engine (BPE) processes integration processes at runtime. Since the BPE uses functions of the Workflow Engine and generates workflows from integration processes at runtime, you must customize the Workflow Engine automatically by using transaction ...read more

Hi Palnati,

When we create integration processes in the Integration Repository which be able to correlate messages and execute more complex processes by means of loops. At runtime, the Integration Server executes these processes on the Business Process Engine and stores information about processes that have already been started and those that are not yet complete.

To send messages from an integration process, the Business Process Engine works closely with the Integration Engine of the Integration Server. When the Integration Server sends messages using an adapter, the Integration Engine works closely with the Adapter Engine.

Hope it will be helpful.

Cheers,

Prasanthi.

Hi Kumar,

BPE is the runtime environment of Integration Processes that we create. All the BPM are executed there.

I think this is basically similar to Workflow engine in R/3, but not sure on that.

Hi Planati,

BPE used Excution BPM (Business Process Management) if you use any BPM it is processed by BPE which avivalbe on ABAP stack . BPM is similar to Workflow of ABAP.

please reward points
