File Adapter - Write to a Folder on another Server

Hi All,

In our scenario, the receiver file adapter (the adapter engine is on integration server) needs to write to a share folder on another server. But only a specific local user in a domain user can access that folder remotely. Is it possible for the file adapter to write to that share folder?

Use FTP in your Reciver Fileadpater and have appriorate permission to write a file and make sure you have access to that domain

nope, until you have the rw access you will not be able to write the data to that location.

Not very clear with your requirement, but you can use FTP server to run on the share folder and access it. Your XI server should be able to ping the target server in any case.
