Project accounting by Internal Order

Hi All,

We have many small projects. Users would like to see profit and loss for each projects. It means revenue and expense for the projects.

1. Anyone know how to do project accounting by Internal Order ?

2. How to do the Internal order Settlement Rules ?

Please help me. Thank you.

Another way to do it is to setup the internal orders as statistical and remove the need for settlement. This can suit the business in some cases.

Hi,

a. Create Internal Orders via KO01/02/03 under an order type (standard/custom)

b. Maintain Settlement Rule with receiver

c. Set Budgets (if required)

d. Post FI transactions with Order as account assignment for all relevant income and expenses

e. Ensure appropriate status of Internal Order - CRTD, RELE, TECO, CLOSED etc.,) at relevant stages

f. Transfer results to ECPCA (Profit Centre Accounting) and display p&l results.

- sender set up

- receiver set up

- profile..... etc

As far as i am concerned you do not settle internal order to PC. You just have to assign the IO to profit center in the master data while creating it and have online transfer to profit center accounting activated in your system.
