Text Variable for Header

Hi Guys,

i have requirements to get an output of "Month, Year (eg. January, 2007)" from 0FISCPER. we have K4/004/2007 for 0FISCPER and want to convert that to the above output. I tried to create text variable with replacement path but my attempt was not successful. Anyone had this experience before when trying to convert to "Month, Year" ?

Hi there,

I saw ur issue, i have been facing a similar issue. Replacement path displays fiscal period key as header but not showing the text as Jan, Feb and so on. Can you please advice me what did you do to resolve the issue. Also can we do it with replacement path or do we need to create text variable processing type customer exit. But the doubt is do we need to write different codes for each fiscal month header? Any help will be appreciated.

Raise a question so you can assign me points. i have solved the issue by writing ABAP codes which allows me to change the period dynamically. i will paste you the complete codes

Display 0FISCPER is Text instead of key. This will solve the issue. You can do it in the properties of 0FISCPER.
