How to Schedule External / Service Activity .

Hi All ,

In my project structure have Internal + External/ Service activity . For intrnal activity I putted required days in Work coloumn in Internal tab of activity & dates is calculated on the basis of that after scheduling the project . But if same I putted required days for External OR Service activity in Internal Tab , its not work . Is there any other way to schedule these activity?
