BW Planning workbook: Help functionality to insert rows in planning workbook

Hello,

We have activated BW business content for CPM (Commercial Project Management) module. We are using SAP delivered planning workbooks to do planning. These workbooks use 'analysis for excel' tool to open and do planning.

We used to get option to select resources/ controlling area like highlighted yellow in following print screen which looks like a question mark within a circle icon.

But when we add additional characteristics to data model, BEx query and workbooks, this option stopped appearing in workbook.

Please let me know how to bring back this feature in planning workbooks.

Hello,

in general AO shows F4 help for characteristics in the case the characteristics have a master data table. Check this for your additional characteristics. You can also check whether the workbooks delivered by CPM have some VBA logic, maybe after adding the characteristics VBA logic by CPM does not work anymore.
