Testing Idoc to File Scenario

Hi,

I am sending MATMAS IDOC to XI server using bd10 transaction.

I get dialog boxes "1Master Idocs is setup for MATMAS" and login screen for XI server, after loggig in, window disappears and then "1Master Idocs is setup for MATMAS", "1 communication IDoc(s) generated for message type MATMAS".

Any inputs how to proceed after this?

I went to sxmb_moni, and I didn't see any message.

Thanks

Balaji

Hi,

I am sending the Idoc from R/3 to XI server.

In R/3, I see in sm58, "Name or password incorrect(repeat logon)".

in R/3 , created RFC destination for XI server using sm59 transaction.

When I test the connection it is perfect. And when I select "Remote logon" should it ask again for password or it automatically logs in to XI server?"

What could be the reason for this error?

Thanks

Balaji

Hi Balaji,

Probably, ur userid and pwd of XI server which u provided n RFC destination is note correct. When u chaeck the remote logon, it shud not ask for the pwd, it shud go directly log on to the XI systm

Correct. It should directly go to XI. But I am getting the login screen. I have entered correct user name and password. Is there any other thing which is causing the issue?

Hi

Check the Authorization in SM59 transaction from the R/3 server to the XI Server for the RFC User that you have defined in logon section. It could be missing authorizations too. Also most important the type of the user should be non-dialog i.e Service or Communication User.

Thanks

Hi Ashish,

I couldn't understand your reply. What authorization is missing? and also where should i mention the user type?

Hi Balaji,

When u definr the RFC destination pointing to XI sytem, under the one tab col u provide the uid and pwd. This userid and pwd shud hv the minimum authorization like if it has a development access, it will be enough.

Akshay

Hi,

1) clear the meta data and check it out

2) In R/3 check whethere the IDOC is sucessfully sent.

Do these checks;

1. Check for any entries in SM58 in R3

2. In IDX2 verify if there si the metadata present for your R3 and the Idoc.

3. Check for entries in IDX5
