Hi,

I want to send help desk data to external system and update it back to solution manager. Is it possible ?

Hello Sanjeev,

Did you check the SPRO points for this configuration?

Connecting the Solution Manager Service Desk with an external service

desk requires that the external service desk implements the same web

service interface as the Solution Manager Service Desk.

When a new servic desk is added via the IMG activity "Configure

Interface to Solution Manager Servic e Desk", the first service of the

external service desk is already called, in order to retrieve an ID

for the external servcie desk.

PLease check note 962383.

Regarding the SOAP/Webservices setting for SAP Solution Manager in order to enable the connection from SAP Services Desk to external helpdesk, you can intergrate the webservices by using SOAP adapter. For more information about the SOAP adapter, you can always refer to SAP document at http://help.sap.com.

Greetings Dolores,

Do you know of a setup guide for configuring an interface between Solution Manager Service Desk and Remedy? Or, even a setup guide for the SolMan side in setting up the interface for the external service desk? The information in SPRO is a bit vague.

Hi there,

Do you mean we can integrate the solution manager service desk with external service desk through SAP XI/PI. Please can you throw some more light on configuration on the solution manager side. Do we need to do it though any BADI's or simple config will do ? I know that we can connect solution manager service desk with external service desk with out XI in solution manager IMG, but I think it only supports the transfer of same message with out any message conversions.

Please can you explain in detail ?
