Unable to complete PGI

Hello,

I have a subcontracting scenario in which along with LB delivery, I need to create another delivery (custom delivery type) which will also have schedule line category LBN and this will be combined in same shipment with LB delivery.

This is because LB delivery is created based on requirements in ME2O but at the time of shipment there is additional place in the truck and plant wants to add more components available in WH till the truck is full. For these additional components there is no requirement so we cannot create another ME2O. This is why we want to create a miscellaneous delivery.

I have created misc delivery. I have included Vendor number in Header->Partner tab. I have completed picking and packing but at time of PGI, I am getting error "Enter a vendor for special stock O".

When I am creating subcontracting delivery from ME2O for same vendor than I am not getting any error. But only when trying to create misc. delivery, I am getting this error. I am not sure where else vendor needs to be updated to complete GI. Please suggest.

You need to deactivate the stock determination for the item category as indicated in OSS note 2347195

Hello Lakshmipathi,

I am using same item category LBN for subcontracting delivery (LB) as well as custom misc. delivery type (ZLB). Stock determination is not maintained for LBN. LIPS-SOBKZ is blank for both deliveries. I am able to successfully complete PGI for LB delivery but I am getting the error only for misc delivery. Can you please suggest if any other config needs to be maintained.

I was able to identify the root cause with help of debugging. It is because for ZLB, I had maintained Order required as Blank whereas for LB it is L.

Now I have hit a dead end because the purpose of creating ZLB was to create delivery with 541 movement type without reference. But this will not work now. Any suggestions if some other method is available instead of using ME2O to create subcontracting delivery.
