Hi Sap Gurus,

We have setup on IBM DB2 10.05 HADR on AIX 7.1, but standby database the lastest transaction timestamp or received logs on standby database was 01/10/2017 12:23:02 (January 10). How to make to update standby database again?

Best regards,

Anderson C.

Standard restore, no redirect required as its the same instance.

db2 restore db <instance> load <location> taken at <timestamp> replace history file

No need to rollforward, remote catchup will take care of that.... then simply enable HADR

Please read the documentation before proceeding

Any error on the db2diag.log?

have you try to stop and start HADR?.... having said that if you not keeping all the archived logs since January you might as well restore from primary and re-enable HADR

Hi Juan,

Thanks for your answer. The hadr_state is remote_catchup, but the standby database is down continously becauseprimary_log_time and standby_replay_log_time are since 01/10/2017.

Enclose picture.

Hi Anderson,

I presume HADR is down, so first thing you can do is to try starting the database as standby. If the remote catchup works then you are in business... if it doesn't then the best thing to do is to restore from a backup of the primary and start the standby again.

Is there any particular error you are getting?
