what is difference b/w bex analyzer and bex query designer?
The differece is a very simple one in Bex query designer you design queries individually.
In Bex Analyser you analyse these queries
you may call more thanone query perform drilling operations on them moreover you can call the query designer within this to design a new query .
you can also change or modify queries on eveninsert a new query in the workbook
hope this gives you the answer

Bex Query designer is to design BW queries only. But in Bex Analyzer we are given planning and analyzing functions with bw query. With analyzer we can create planning sheets for Integrated planning with planning funtions attached. We can reset, save the planning data with analyzer.

Designer is to design / build your query and publish in web, role, etc. And when finished you can also execute the query from designer.
