System Monitoring SM 7.2 not working - Alerts not reported in Alert Inbox


I am setting up system monitoring in Solution Manager 7.2 to Monitor SAP and HANA systems by creating custom templates for the following

1. Database (HANA 1.0)

2. Technical Instance (ABAP 7.10 & higher)

3. Database Instance (HANA DB)

System Monitoring configuration is complete without any errors. Custom templates created with custom thresholds. Made custom templates as Default. Monitoring Setup is complete.

But I don't get any alerts in alert inbox from my HANA databases or ABAP Systems. Overall system status of HANA systems is unknown and metrics are greyed out.

Only one hana database has overall status as critical and still metrics are greyed out. Alert Inbox doesn't receive any alerts from HANA Systems even though there are alerts to be reported.

Not sure if I am missing something here. Any valuable advice would be appreciated.
