Need to disable Virus Scan Interface for uploading attachments to eRecruit

Hello,

We are running into issues in the configuration of our eRecruit 6.00 system with relation to the upload of attached documents (i.e., resumes). It seems that this cannot be done without the use of a third-party antivirus solution that works with SAP's NW-VSI interface, and to date, I know of only one certified product (Avira). Unfortunately, I can't get Avira's sales team to return my emails.

In any case, at this point we don't really need a virus scan for this part of the process. We just need to be able to upload these attachments. However, if I disable the Virus Scan Profile, we get the message "An internal error occurred." If I enable the profile, then we get the message "Your document contains a virus and will not be uploaded" although there is no virus, and even if there was it wouldn't be detected, because there is no virus scanner!

Has anyone successfully bypassed the Virus Scan Interface for uploading attachments to eRecruit? If so, could you provide a hint as to how you went about it?

Best regards,

Matt
