Hi,
we are testing in the moment our old reports comming from BPC 7.5 onto 10.1 (both Microsoft).
I do not know if this is a bug or not. That is the reason why I am asking here.
In our Entity structure we have ID's that are only two digits long (e.g. 'A.').
The old BPC functions do not work anymore with those short ID's.
For example EVDES is giving back 'NoData'.
If I rename the ID from 'A.' to 'A..' the functions are working again. Even when I use as ID 'A.'
I processed already the dimension and application but no change.
Has someone the same experience?
Kind regards,
Fabian
"The members of the Consoscope and Entity are identical." - bad idea in general for BPC!

Hi,
ahh... I am sorry. Now I get it.
The members of the Consoscope and Entity are identical.
At a later stage we changed that but not for this historical structure.
I think that is the reason why BPC was not able to show the information.
Thanks for you help and kind regards,
Fabian

Hi Vadim,
the EPM Reports are working fine.
I figured now out if I put the Dimension in front of the member (e.g.: 'Enitiy:A.') is works as well.
Kind regards,
Fabian

Looks like EV functions in EPM are not working correctly with "." in ID's (at least as last character)
What about normal EPM reports and EPM functions?
What EPM SP is used?

Fabian
