regarding BSP execution

Hello,

I have created simple BSP page, which is not having any syntax errors but when i activate and execute it, i am getting 'Page is not found' is displaying.

As i am new to BSP, i tried to execute other applications also, but nothing is working.

Could you please help me on this, do i need to do any settings for my application in CRM.

I will be waitnf for your help.

Krishna,

First you will need to check if the hostnames are maintained properly in your system

Then you will need to check if the proper services are activated in your Web AS

Then you come to the part of executing the sample given in the tutorial.

The tutorial is already there in your server as an SAP delivered tutorial.

Go to SE80 -> select BSP Applications -> search for tutorial* -> open tutorial_1 -> go to the default.htm page ( the triangle beside the top level ) -> then double click on the htm page and you can see the contents on the right hand side window -> not press F8 to execute the page -> if you are able to see annything on IE it means that your BSP developemnt is configured properly.

Check this and then come back if it does not work , further troubleshooting can happen.

kindly post BSP related questions in BSP forum.

Page is not found could be due to various reasons.

in your browser go to tools->internet options->advanced and uncheck the check box against, "Show friendly http error messages" and then run your BSP again, what message do you get in the browser now.

other thigs to check.

1. when you run the bsp did you get a pop up asking for authentication for back end system

2. did you get pop up for proxy userid/pwd

3. is the service in active in transaction SICF

thanks for the reply

when uncheck the check box against, "Show friendly http error messages", i got the pop up 'you are about to leave secure internet connection. it will be possible otheres to view information you send.

If i click Yes in the pop-up again i am getting the page not found screen.

I have seen the services in the SICF transaction. I think they are active. Please help me on this regard

you didnt answer some of my previous questions.

do you connect to internet via proxy server?

are you using https protocol for BSP applications?

how to see the Host name, and what should be the host anme...

what are those services to be acitvated

when we use bsp application AND press f8 it will go to IE link will be like this
