No reporting symbol for an cube.

Hi all,

I created Z cube without any aggregates and loaded data sucessfuly but i'm not able to see the reporting symbol next the request id. When i checked in manage content data, data is available for the fact but not for any dimension table.

Please go through the following when we did the diagnosis.

Diagnosis

There is an inconsistency between the load status of the data and the

option of reporting on this data.

There is data in the InfoProvider that is OK from a quality point of

view, but is not yet displayed in reporting.

The problem, for example, is to do with request 0000003343, number

REQU_44ROL5YBBCJMDL5HQ8TVBAER6.

Procedure

Choose Refresh to remove the inconsistency.

As per the procedure we did but went to short dump

UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION

CX_SDB_ORA_PROGRAM_ERROR

Highly appreciable if any one could resolve our issues.

Hello Niyati,

Can u plz explain the structure of your cube - what all dimension u have? and how the data is being sent?

May be this will help us to understand the underlying problem.

if there there are unsucessful rewuest in the cube delete that request

and then you do reporting you will reporting symbol.

pls assign points if helpful.

Hi, but we have n't migrated we r in the older version only. The cube is activated , transfer rules and update rules are also activated , but still we r facing the same problem .. If anybody has faced the same situation , please help me out, it is a bit urgent...

We r working in BW 7.0 , yesterday only we applied the support package 11 , is this problem is due to this patch ... In the manage screen whenever we tried to refresh the request we r getting the short dump which i already mentioned ..

Hello Niyati,

Try deleting and reloading this data. We are on SP10. So, will not be able to comment on SP11.

But, just try to delet and reload the data.

Before runign the load, try to activate cube, transformation, DTP etc and schedule it.

Plz advise what system is telling after this.

Hi Guys thanks for your quick responses .

We have already checked RSRV , but it din't help us .. We have created two Z cubes for inventory one is working fine but we r facing the problem with other z cubes. What can be the problem ??

Niyathi,

delete the request and reload it again from PSA. It should solve the problem. Or check if you have to load any master data to respective master data infoobjects. If so load that and then reload the same...

Try running RSRV; perform all combined test for Transaction data.

This will throw some light.
