MSS Workflow page loading very slow

Can someone please help me understand why my ESS page loads within 3 seconds and my MSS page loads in about 30 seconds. Once the page is cached it obviously takes no time at all.

The BSP is standard out of the box SAP. Is there calls being made to load the data around the workflow structure that may be taking a long time to initially load?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Jason,

Can you please list the pages you are referring ?

Also let me know which version of ESS - MSS are you using ? As mentioned here, you have some BSP applications in MSS which means it's the older version probably BUSINESS PACKAGE FOR MANAGER SELF-SERVICE_60_1_2. Correct me if i am wrong.

MSS version on PR1: 100sp11

Business package on PROD: MANAGER SELF-SERVICE_60_1_5
