Hi,

I am using DDL generation "create-or-extend-tables" to update tables in HANA database but failed. Specifically, I am trying to add a new column to the existing table, but the existing table fails to get the new column added up. Part of my Persistence.xml is as below:

<prop key="eclipselink.ddl-generation">create-or-extend-tables</prop>

<prop key="eclipselink.logging.level">CONFIG</prop>

<prop key="eclipselink.logging.level.sql">CONFIG</prop>

<prop key="eclipselink.logging.exceptions">true</prop>

<prop key="eclipselink.logging.parameters">true</prop>

<prop key="eclipselink.weaving">false</prop>

<prop key="eclipselink.deploy-on-startup">true</prop>

<prop key="eclipselink.ddl-generation.output-mode">database</prop>

<prop key="eclipselink.target-database">HANA</prop>

Does anyone have any idea of updating existing tables of HANA DB?

Not sure what the current level of support for HANA in eclipselink is. https://wiki.eclipse.org/EclipseLink/Development/DatabasePlatform/HANAPlatform lists the last update 2014.

However, what error message do you get?
