Asset Transfer

Hi,

I transferred one existing asset to new asset class which doesn't have any asset in it. When i ran the dep run then i m not able to see the dep posting for the period 11 in aw01 for that asset infact period 11 is missing. I have checked the logs also but m not able to trace out where the postings are incurring.

Its uregent.

Hi Meenakshi,

When u run dep. u get the dep. amount and the amount to be posted.

Assign GL a/c and check the doc type AF for dep area posting

and also check capitalization date

What is the asset transfer date? What is the last period of asset depreciated in legacy? have you already done this.

the asset transfer date is today's date.

the period in which the asset is depreciated is 11

Hi Meenakshi,

If your asset transfer date is today and is period 11 this month according to your fiscal year variant ?

Check whether you have done an update run for depreciation or have just run a test run.
