Order of Items

Hello,

For 'Sales Quotation' and 'Order' I have my own Crystal Report layouts.
I have one 'Sales Quotation' where is around 20 Items and on this 'SQ' I have changed order/sequence of the items (via the arrows on the right side) and update, but when I preview/print it, still I see the Items in previous sequence. Is it somehow wired in database and not possible to change it or it will be problem in my CR layout?

Hi Zdenek,

If your report is already grouping or sorting then it's bound by the report's design. If there's not grouping and sorting, then it should take to order from the tables based on linking and indexes.

Changing the sorting in the SQ doesn't always mean the report will reflect those changes. If the report is sorting or grouping then you'll have to update that before the report is run. You would need access to the Crystal SDK to do this.

Yes, I forgot, that I have in subreport 'Order by'
