Using Workflows for Automatic message processor determination !!!!!!!!!!

Dear Friends,

We have requirement that once the msg is created it should be directly assigned to msg processor.

The end user can be any user.

So depending on the SAP component, the apt msg processor should be determined.........

We have decided to use workflows to determine it and so we are not going to maintain ORG srtucture.......

I am Newbie in workflows, i need to some tips or docs that would help me learn,

understand, configure, develop workflows.......

Please help me with this..........

Hi,

As per your requirement, When the call is logged the msg processor can be assigned as per the SAP component through the Standard action rule.

goto Tx: PFAC --> AC13200137

with in that u can map the particular processor to the sap component.

Hi Suzzane Dsouza,

You can define automatic message processor determination in tab "Responsibilities" (PFAC -> 13200137). You can view defined rules for determination message processor after activation BC-Sets (SPRO-> Service Desk -> BC Sets), as example: Responsibilities for groups Basis and CRM (determination by SAP component).

Hey Yashwanth,

I tried that.

My problem is when i create responsibilities, i should use Function module to resolve the rule,

Where should i specify the function module, so that the rule is resolved, thus enabling the determination of Msg processor OR Suport team....

That means when the msg is created automatically the Msg processor is determined....

Plz help ASAP.......
