Sandbox – The term used to identify a client that has been built and maintained for use by developers, testers, validators, instructors, or trainees to practice transactions without fear of contaminating system data. Information entered into this system is usually lost the next time it is refreshed or rebuilt.
There is one client called as Golden client (Configuration server which is also called as Master client ) where configuration makes all configuration and transported to Sandbox server. You can say that, all testing is done in this server after configuration.. After testing scenario in this server the request moves to Quality server.
Mirror Server: - This is actual replica of Production server .This server is also can be used as “Disaster recovery server “.
In case Business Warehouse or running any report all load comes on production server, to avoid this some customers use this Mirror server which is copy of production server.
