HELP with Proxy-to-Portlet IView (WSRP) Problem !!

Hi, I'm trying to create a Proxy-to-Portlet IView (WSRP) and creating it is no problem. When I execute/preview the IView I get the following message:

com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.BWReport::GlobalPortal/ReturnToConsumer
MandatoryParameters
sap-pp-consumerBaseURL

OptionalParameters

any idea what the mandatory parameter sap-pp-consumerBaseURL is?

Inputting the Portal URL doesn't help.

Thanks!

Hi Kenneth,

The appintegrator is a component that redirects the user-agent to the specific backbend (BW in that case). this concept of redirecting the browser to the producer of the content is in contradiction to the WSRP standard in which the consumer (consumer portal) intermediates all requests between the user agent and the producer. Please note that the content to be consumed using WSRP MUST!!! comply with the WSRP standard rules in order to be used via WSRP. Appintegrator is not a WSRP compliant content.

Regards,

Avi.

For me there is the same problem.

We want to publish a producer bi 7.0 iview on a consumer using it by proxy.

I understand that the only way is to use WSRP, because if we use EEI (Remote Role Intergration) or RDL (Remote Delta Link), consumer is not used as a proxy, because the user connect himself directly to the producer.

Could you help me?

Thanks.

It looks like the consumer URL was incorrectly configured in the Federated Landscape. It should just be the proper server and port number. The configuration included a /irj... etc in the url. Once the parameter was just set to the server and port it worked perfectly.

Thanks!

Kenneth,

Are you trying to consume the BI iView from an external Portal or a Federated EP system?

We are trying to use BI 7.0 iView with BEA and SAP has said it will not be supported as Bi iViews are not WSRP compliant, was wondering whether you run similar scenario?
