I have Apache Tomcat version 8.5.14 and SAP HANA studio version 2.2.9 installed on my PC. I have watched several videos showing how to configure Eclipse to use Tomcat as a local web server, which simplifies testing SAPUI5 apps. In HANA studio, however, when I go to Window->Preferences->Server->Runtime Environments, I do not see my installed Tomcat version listed. Under Apache Software Foundation, I see several "downloadable" options that say "Geronimo", but if I pick one I do not get the option to create a local server. Is there a way to get SAP HANA studio to recognize my Tomcat installation, so I can run applications on localhost:8080?
I am answering my own question here - I had to install the JST Server Adapter and JST Server Adapter Extensions. Once I did that, I was able to see and use my installed Tomcat server in Eclipse.
