External Addresses Only Receive One AIF Alert per Day

We have configured our alerts and recipient for alerts in AIF and when using /AIF/IFMON can see all errors being logged. Due to certain business requirements we would prefer to use distribution list emails and "Assign External Addresses" when assigning recipients to receive alerts.

By using external addresses, only one interface alert per day is being sent. Is there a configuration similar to that found in AIF/IFMON and set the mail notification to "Mail for Every Single Error" when using external email assignments? We would rather not have to add every business user that needs to receive alerts with the "Assign Users" have to have them access IFMON and set all of their interfaces to "Mail for Every Single Error".

Thanks for any help and advice you may have.

Hi William

You can try this way:

Goto /AIF/CUST, create a new recipient, let's say 'ALWAYS_SEND', and assign it to your interface without key fields.

Goto SE11->/AIF/ALRT_USRNOT, CREATE one entry for namespace, interface, ALWAYS_SEND, 'X' 'X'.

Back to /AIF/CUST, assign recipients, namespace, ALWAYS_SEND, add those external email addresses.

FM /AIF/CREATE_ALERT used to get those recipients and send alert, you can debugging. :)

Thanks for the suggestion Archer. I will be looking into this approach and let you know my results.
