Hi SAPGurus,
Our company is implementing Liquidity Forecast and Cashflow on a minor scale. They just require the Cashflow statement (every month)
I do not quite understand how the system will report the actual cash flows in SAP. I know how to get the expected cash flows from the system (FF7A) but do not know how to track the actuals.
If an invoice is booked today for S100 with value date in the next 10 days, the system will show a payment of S100 on the 10th day. But what if I do not pay the S100 on the 10th day and pay that on the 13th Day. I want this actual flow captured in SAP.
Can I use FF7A/FF7B for this or are there any other transactions that can help?
Appreciate if anybody can share their experiences regarding this.
Thanks in advance,
Harish Aluru
Hello Harish,
What you are asking for is currently not supported with Cash Management. Cash Management is a generic tool which gives an outline as to what amounts are due on what date. For your scenario, if yo pay on 13 , for the ates 11 and 12 the data would stiill be as open intem under the date 10. Only when the payment is done on 13, the data would be reflected on Bank accounts on 13.
Cash management does not update the forecast report values based on current date and existing value dates.
Thanks and Regards,
Pranav.
