error while assigning a foreign hierarchy characteristic

Hi Guys,

When trying to insert a characteristic node to a hierarchy, it gives me an error saying 'info object IO_SREG not entered for IO_SREP(where the hierarchy is being maintained) as a foreign hierarchy characteristic' .It gives me this error despite fixing it by appropriate assignment.Is there anything else that i need to maintain ?
