Cost calculation in ByDesign

The problem is, that when making cost estimate, the system calculates the set up cost with the single piece production, but we would need to calculate the cost for example of 10K pieces, is it possible in ByD, or is there any other way have to make simillar calculation ? Like for example Reference and Simulation costing in SAP ECC. Or to make some initial cost calculation of production without creating production model?

Hi Peter,

To answer this, In ByDesign the Material cost estimate simulation rolls up and calculate for single unit only. And without creation of production model , we would not get the estimation of all cost line material consumption, service and overhead consumptions. Total material cost estimate is arrived by rolling up the cost of all substructure.
