Do not see the description for 0FUND infoobject in query

Hell gurus,

I am having 0FUND as infoobject in one of my query, and I have kept the setting as Key and text but for some reason all the texts shows up as Not assigned.

I have loaded all the master data right. When i maintain masterdata for 0FUND I see the short and medium description for all funds but in the query the description never comes up.

What should I do to fix this?

Hi,

You will have to load text separately for the object to see the text.

Just look foe the text data source for the 0FUND it is 0FUND_TEXT.

and make a separate infosource and load the data directly from the data source to the target object.

The object will be begining with 0FUND_T.

Make update rules to this infosource.

If you have alraedy done that then chack in the cube

Go to Extra->Structure specific infoobject property here you have the option of making display of the object as text or key.

check for the 0fund whether it is key or not.

Make it Key and text.

If query is based on multi cube than follow the same steps there also.

Hi Kris,

1) make sure that Text is loaded for 0FUND.

2) Check the General Settings of Business Explorer Tab for Info Object 0FUND.

Check wheteher Key and Text is selected for Display.

If Key is Selected for Display Change it to Key and Text.

Hello Ajeet and Vijay,

I have already done all the things that you have mentioned. When i see the master data og 0FUND i see the descriptions. But whren I use it in query I do not see any description.

I have the settings in query set to Key and Text. Also in business explorer tab the Display is set to Text, Text type set to default and Bex description set to Short description.

So what am I missing

Dear Kris,

Just remove the texts Option from the Infoobject, and again activate the infoobject with Texts option,sometimes this works..as it worked for me sometime back..
