I knew that one profile exists for a Role in Authorizations tab in pfcg. My question is whether we can add multiple profiles manually to a Role. If yes, how can we do it.

Hi,

You can not link multiple profiles to one role but you can add the contents of other profiles to a roles' profile.

From the authorizations maintenance screen menu in PFCG: Edit -> Insert Authorizations -> From profile.

What system version are you working on? Composite profiles are a thing of the past. As is manually creating profiles.

In that case I think you shouldn't try to create or maintain profiles other than with the profile generator, PFCG. The manual path has been abandoned somewhere around SAP 4.5

That means I'll leave it with my earlier answer that you can combine the contents of multiple profiles into one new role/profile. I am not aware of any way to link multiple profiles to one role.
