hi,

how do we upload the text length more than 40 characters in the material description field

    hi,

    if your uploaded text > 40, better use long text (fm save_data) to modify text.

    (field makt-MAKTX = char 40)

    You will be able to maintain Long Text in different ways

    In Material master you can maintain the Long text as Basic Data text , Once you enter the Long text , It will be Visible in Basic Data View.
