COGI - Posting period issue

Dear Experts,

We have got a set of 'posting only possible in periods xxxx and xxxx' in COGI due to a mistake done by a user in production system. User has mistakenly executed some Z program which does production confirmation using a BAPI for some old set of production orders.

These production orders have been created in last year. Posting periods cannot be reopened and production confirmation cannot be posted to the current period.

I have already gone through some forums, but none of them explains how to delete these COGI errors. I would appreciate if you can suggest how to clear these errors.

run COGI

double click on item with that error

type today's date in a "Posting Date" field and re-process (Save) the cogi item

will it post goods movement in the current period?

yes, in current period.

however, you can simply delete a cogi item. just make sure it would not impact on your FI/CO guys (talk to them before).
