SA Release strategy error

Dear Gurus,

I'm getting an error message that the SA is not subject to release strategy. As per the user requirement we have configured version management but for few SAs the error is coming. I have checked the Cl20n, class and characteristics all are okay but the scheduling agreement statistical delivery date is in the past. Is that the reason its not allowing for release. The version at the header is also in un-selectable mode. Please help
