Connecting two different BW landscapes to a single SAP R/3 or ECC system?

Hello All,

Does anyone have any documentation or advice on connecting two different BW landscapes to a single SAP R/3 or ECC system? To be clear this is not connecting a Dev and QA of a single BW landscape to one SAP R/3 source but rather two different BW Production (BW A and BW B) boxes to a single SAP R/3 or ECC productive system. The concern is around such things as:

- The setup and maintenance of the SAP R/3 delta queues - specifically SD and purchase orders using the LIS Cockpit

- What if the delta queue fails for one BW system and not the other (my assumption is that the delta queues are BW source target dependant)?

- Are the SAP R/3 CHMOD exits source target dependent (in other words is a change to the SAP R/3 include ZXRSAU01 or ZXRSAU02 effect to all target BW systems)?
