Dear Experts,
we are creating an sales order, in line item level business area determined based on plant and division combination as AA10 and then we entered cost center re-assignment of business area changed to AA20 because cost center level business area assigned as AA20 then we are entering WBS element we are getting error as below but WBS element has business area assigned as AA20 only.
Error Message as
"WBS element ABC.DEFGH2.01.13 does not belong to business area AA10"
here I would like to understand the SAP system behavior why it's again checking of business area assigned at plant level instead of checking for cost center level. one more thing is above error is not coming if we maintain cost center at header level. little strange for me. could you please help me out by providing better solution on it.

It is because, you would have assigned Business Area to Plant in configuration
