How to go ahead in SD

Hi,

I am working in ABAP since 2 years and i have worked on all types of programs in

ABAP like user-exits,ALE,IDOC,EDI,BAPI.I have prepared programs in SD module only so far.Now i want to become a SD techno functional.

According my friends suggession i have got WILLIAMS text book on SD and i have gone through this book and i have learned most of the basic configurations.

Previously i have domain experience also.Now how can i proceed to become a

techno functional in SD and what type of material i can use.

Hi Shyla,

Thats looks really good. Best material I always found was the sap library, then trying out various cofig chages reading F1 help. This is at the base level. You can follow it up with varied issues and requirements focussed in this forum where you can get insight into a variety of situations. Siemens material is also good. It adds valuable points.

But really to have specific config knowledge pl go through the library, spro and F1 help. Internet is another source to find any unanswered things or if you need more info on the same.

Try understanding SD processes in the project you are doing ABAP help.

Take the help of concerned SD consultant who will share his practiacal experiences, parallely Siemens Material will help alot.

Getting Certified is not a bad idea.

You have a great opportunity that you are on ABAP project.

Going forward it will be helpful to your career.
