Has anyone uploaded bulk contacts in c4c and replicate it to ECC

Can someone let me know how we can upload bulk contacts in c4c using data migration template. what fields needs to be populated in the template for the contact to get replicated to ECC.

Hello Anu,

=> For a contact to get replicated to ECC/ERP, it is mandatory that you have to associate it with an Account

=> In C4C, there is no activity to migrate contacts alone. You have to use the activity/template Migration of Accounts - then in the contacts tab, you can provide contact details.

=> If you want to create only contacts - you can use Data Workbench. But those contacts cannot be replicated to ERP as the association with the account is missing.

Hi Mandip,

Thanks for ur reply. Yes i am uploading both contacts and account together. But when i upload it all the contacts are created in the c4c but only the first contact is replicated to ecc. If i have uploaded 10 accounts with new contacts, only one of them is replicated to ecc but all 10 contacts are created for their respective accounts.

I am populating the account id, contact id , first and last name in the migration template for customers.
