KE31 and creating a copy of an existing report with a NEW form

Greetings, all,

I have a requirement to create copies of existing COPA reports (with minor changes, of course), but I am having issues with KE31.

It appears that there is the ability to create a copy of a report (the same way there is the ability to create copies of FORMS), but it doesn't seem to work.

Here's what I'm doing.

In KE31, I start this way:

At 1 is the new report name: ZSL2COFP-BS0

At 2 is the form that I want to use, copied in KE34: ZSL2COFP_BS0

At 3 is the report that I want to copy: ZSLSCOFP-BS0.

When I click the "Create" button, this is what I get:

At 1, I have my new report name: ZSL2COFP-BS0.

BUT, at 2, we see the form that this report uses: ZSLSCOFP-BS0.

What am I doing wrong here? It would be a LOT faster for me to take out what needs to be taken out rather than to re-build reports that already exist and only need minor changes.
