Crystal Reports 11.5.10.1263 cannot connect to Salesforce database

I'm receiving an error when trying to run a report that requires extracting data from salesforce.

Error Message: Failed to load database information. Details: The database connector 'crdb_sforce.dll' could not be loaded.

    In Crystal Reports version XI Release 2 (11.5.10.1263) Salesforce.com driver had to be downloaded and installed separately. The error message tells us the driver is not installed. Unfortunately the version XI R2 is not supported and the driver download is not available.
