Payment Cards Related

Hi,

Experts i am facing a problem.i have done all the configuration in my system for payment cards.And when i am entering card number in customer master(XD01) it is not accepting card number i am giving 16 digit numeric.And i tried in VA01 manually to enter Number but it is not taking.I am thing some authorization needed for this work.can any budy help to solve this problem.

Can be due to couple of reason.

Check the following:

1. If any checks are included in the transaction, 'payment card type'

these functions are used by the system to check card numbers.

Remove the checks or use the appropriate check.

Path: IMG-SD-Billing-Payment cards-Maintain Card type.

2. Also check, transaction 'Determine Card Category', if any range for the card is given and the number which u are entering is within this range.

Path: IMG-SD-Billing-Payment cards-Maintain Card Category.

Hi Suresh,

Problem could be related to the checks you have put in front of your card type.

Path is -sprosd-billing-payment cardsmaintain payment cards.

You can remove this check and proceed further.
