Will PB 12.6 Application works on Windows server 2016 OS

Currently we are using PowerBuilder 12.5 on window 2008 R2 system. Planning to migrate our application to PowerBuilder 12.6 and to deploy the same in Windows server 2016 system.

From PB 12.6 Release Bulletin, what we could see is Powerbuilder 2016 will work on Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2(supported for runtime).

Will application build on PB 12.6 work on Windows server 2016 system.

Hi Mohammud;

While PB 12.6 has not been certified for W2016 Server, I suspect that your PB 12.6 App should work. Like any PB App when changing environments - its always prudent to thoroughly test them before releasing into production.

FWIW: The new PB 2017 being released in June, 2017 will be W2016 Server certified.
