We routinely import CDM Entities into EAM's as Data and use them as directed as a preferred method for reuse during training. One question I have has to do with synchronization of update information changed in the CDM Entity to the downstream EAM Data Objects. By way of example, if I update the Comment in a CDM Entity, how can I propagate those changes down to the EAM Data Object Comment Property? I have attempted to (Re) Import the updated CDM Entities to the EAM Data Items, but it just adds a sequential number to a new Data Object. Is this possible?
You could create a Custom Check in the CDM, which would follow the links from the CDM objects to the related EAM objects and compare the descriptions. A difference would be reported as a warning, and the autofix would overwrite the description in the EAM.

George, OK I see what you are saying, so there's no way to make Entity-related Properties automatically sync with the related Data items that were originally imported? Thanks once again.

It's not ideal, but you could import the entities into an empty EAM, then merge the new EAM into the original one
