Inspection lot creation not generating change pointer in BDCP2

Hello All,

We have a requirement to send inspection lot data (QA01) from ECC to another system when certain fields have been changed.

For this, we have entered these 5 fields in BD52 for a custom message type to capture in BDCP2 table. While the changes we do on an existing inspction lot is captured in BDCP2, but the Creation of a new Inspection lot from QA01 is NOT being captured.

We have even tried by adding the 'KEY' field as suggested for other change pointers. But this is not triggering in change pointer when the inspection lot is created from QA01 (entry is created in QALS table, but it is not present in change pointer table BDCP2).

Has anybody faced the same issue in change pointers? Kindly provide your suggestion to this issue. Looking forward to it.

Did you check whether the given fields able to record changes ?

You should also activate change pointer for message type in tcode BD50.
