Asset Quantity for a service line item is not updating in ECC (AS03)

Dear Experts,

We have an issue related to an asset quantity after service entry sheet posting. Below is our scenario:

We are creating a service line PO with "Account assignment category = Asset". When we post a confirmation the system is supposed to update the asset master with confirmed
quantity in AS03.

As per our investigation so far , it is correctly updating quantity field for material line items and the issue is only for service line items.

further we have observed that, the quantity updation in asset master could be depend on the unit of measure (UoM) used while ordering the PO.

Could you please suggest/guide us what can be the possible causes?

Hi Rupesh,

I am not sure if this issue is already solved or not.
First, I would like to ask you some questions:
1, Is the confirmed quantity updated correctly in SRM service PO and also the corresponding SES in ECC side?
2, If the issue only happen to asset master data in ECC side, I would suggest you raise an incident in SAP since this needs to be analyzed further via test data and check if this belongs to FI or SRM or MM side.
