Amount due difference between AP Invoice and Outgoing Payment

Former Member

Dear Gurus,

I have done an AP Invoice with defined an exchange rate at 7.79, which differs from system rate, with Invoice Total is USD 100 and Booked $779 in Local Currency.

When I perform the Outgoing payment, it shows the Amount due is $775 Local Currency, which is valuated at system rate.

1. Why the Amount due is not based on the exchange rate declared on Invoice?

2. How to perform this kind of payment?

3. I am using LC to Paid as TT to USD, how do I perform this kind of transaction?

Regards,

Daniel

Hi,

If both the Date of the Invoice and the Payment are different, then the Exchange Rate would be based on that date in the Invoice and Payment.

What is your result when you try making the payment on the posting date as the Invoice?

Hi,

I have set the date same as to Invoice's posting date. However the exchange rate on my invoice (7.79) is different from the exchange table(7.75). Would it be matter?
