Hi,

1) I configured the toatal configuration steps for tax procedure. But when i am creating the tax code i am unable to get the change mode for deactivating the tax types.(Ex: VAT - Output tax, VAT-Input Tax).

2) I have defined the tax jurisdiction code AP0000000 and assigned in the respective areas a) company code address b) tax code c)Tax record conditions(Vk15), but in plant tax jurisdiction field 1000 is diplayed.

3) I got error as tax jurisdiction code 1000 defined at state level.

Thanks,

Hi,

Ashok thanks for the info, but this didnt cleared my error.

System is warning error "First create thejurisdiction code at state level (100000000)

Message no: FF743

Diagnosis:

The settings for demanding the cash discount amounts are linked to the upper level of jurisdiction code & .They have not been defined in the system.

Procedure:

Create jurisdiction code and there maintain the settings for cash discount base and tax base.

Hi

In the first place you should create the structure for the jurisdiction and define jurisidction codes

- IMG task - Financial accounting- Financial accounting global settings-Tax on sales/purchase - basic settings -specify structure for jurisdiction code and define tax jurisdictions.

Thanks

Ashok
