Hi Experts
We're on EP 6.0 & use the integrated windows Authentication single-sign-on (SSO) using the siteminder product from netegrity & the EP 6.0 login module HeaderVariableLoginModule, we plan to upgrade our EP system from 6 to 7, currently I'm analyzing any possible impact to SSO due to the upgrade, as per OSS note 886214, Iisproxy is dead, Our Infrastructure team has suggested that for single-sign-on to work with EP7 they need to purchase siteminder connector which means extra costs to project, a workaround to that is instead of using SAP's reverse proxy Iisproxy, Apache can be installed on the EP server & SSO can still be achieved using siteminder, if and only if login module HeaderVariableLoginModule is still available with EP7.
a) Can somebody advice whether the above approach works?
b) Since currently I don't have any EP7 version, can somebody tell me if the HeaderVariableLoginModule is still available with after EP6 to EP7 upgrade?. The same can be checked using the visual admin under the services security Provider-> Runtime-> Policy Configurations
Thanks & Rgds,
Abhishek
