Business Content load failed: Package Z_TRAIN does not exist

Hi experts,

We have a SAP ERP 2005 IDES, BI 7 and BI Content 7.03 SP4 installed.

In Transaction SBIW - "Business Content DataSource" I want to execute "Transfer Application Component Hierarchy" shows an error popup with "Package Z_TRAIN does not exist. Choose 'Display Object' or 'Cancel'."

Anyone to help me? I cannot find anything about Z_TRAIN in OSS.

Presume the package is not visible through se80 > package > Z_TRAIN.

If so, create it, let us know how u get on.

How can this be??? I did what you proposed and - now it works!

Could be a user deleting it, not too sure, am not too basis.

No, defenitely not. The system is brand new. And some of the Data Elements, tables etc. I saw in TADIR with assignment to package Z_TRAIN did not exist, too.

No developer - except me - had access to the system.

How ever. You solved it - thank you again!

i have this error Package Z_TRAIN does not exist, how can i create this package and with wich parameters?

i used se80 --> infopackage --> create infopackage Z_TRAIN ???? wich parameters do i introduce?

Hi Mathias,

I think Z_TRAIN is a custom development package: probably someone else already transported the application component hierarchy and he assigned this package...try to change this link for object R3TR APCO...

Digging deeper I found in Table TADIR several Objects assigned to package Z_TRAIN. And the package itself I can find there, too! It is from Sourcesystem ID3 - I think it is SAP stuff which is not delivered, maybe trainig courses stuff. There - in TADIR - i see that there are some data sources assigned to Z_TRAIN (i.e. SCARR, SFLIGHT and some with Z...). Maybe this is the problem. But how to solve it?

In RSA1 I only find the entry "unassigned nodes".
