Forecast not getting consumed properly

Hi All,

I have unique issue in the forecast consumption issue.

Forecast consumption Mode - 2

Backward Consumption - 1

Scenario is -

Sales order is at 23 hours on 17 May and forecast is at 21 hours on same date i.e. 17 May - so according to backward consumption of 1 day – It should move 24 hours back and starting consuming the forecast.

Instead of consuming the forecast for same date i.e. 17 may,it is consuming forecast of 16 may which is beyond 24 hours so more than 1 day.

Result – Wrong forecast consumption and in the planning book also it is reflecting the same date i.e. 16 may.

I see that there is difference in Overview and Detail under Forecast tab in /SAPAPO/RRP3.

This difference is of 1 day.

Overview is showing forecast consumption on 16 May which is wrong.

Detail is showing forecast consumption on 17 May and this is correct.

Hello,

Difference in Overview tab and Detail tab means problem.
You'll need to apply all available notes first (see below). If the issue still happens after applied the notes, please contact SAP support.

Hi Ada,

Thanks for your answer.

When we release the forecast, in standard design it automatically shows the forecast time as 00:00:00 in product view.

We have done customization to release the forecast at different time.

Please confirm that forecast consumption consider 24 hours in a day.

If backward consumption is maintained for 1 day then it should consider 24 hours to consume the forecast.
